We are looking for fanatic cyclists who:
want to join us in taking up this sports challenge;
can pass on the vision and mission of the Astrid Uganda Foundation;
can convincingly gather in sponsor money;
have a positive attitude and sense of humour.
1. Cycling team
With a cycling team of twenty participants at most we want to take up the sports challenge and cycle to Austria in six days.
Costs for participation cycling trip + High Alpine Road:
Expenses: € 550
Sponsoring part: € 500 (mandatory).
Participation after registration. Upon participation you will receive clothing provided by the clothing sponsor.
Expenses include:
Accommodation
Breakfast, lunch and evening meal
Thirst-quencher on the way
Fuel/toll
2. High Alpine Road team
The number of participants who can register for the High Alpine Road is unlimited??
Costs for participation in High Alpine Road:
Expenses: P.M.
Sponsoring part: €150 (mandatory)
Participation after registration.
Expenses include:
Travelling
Accommodation
Thirst-quencher on the way
Cycling shirt
Toll
The committee can help with arrangements for accommodation.
3. Supporting team
You do not feel like joining the cyclists yourself, yet you do want to make an active contribution to the cycling trip? We are also looking for supervisors who take care of:
• passing on the vision and mission of the Astrid Uganda Foundation;
• convincingly gathering in sponsor money;
• transportation of the luggage of the participants from and to accommodation;
• the sag wagon for repair kits and First Aid kits;
• buying and looking after thirst-quencher/lunch break/(evening meal);
• taking photos;
• writing daily reports;
• lending a helping hand.
Costs for participation in supporting team:
Expenses: € 375
Sponsoring part: voluntarily
Participation after registration. When you participate you will receive clothes provided by the clothing sponsor.

Important
All cycling participants must take care of their own (spare) parts kits. Participation in the cycling trip is at everyone’s personal risk. The Astrid Uganda Foundation, the initiatiors and/or the organization cannot assume liability for material dammage and/or physical injury. You should therefore arrange for your own appropriate (travel) insurance.
